Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Smoothie

Plain old protein shakes can get a little boring. I’ve been there! After a good lift, I would just put my protein powder in a blender bottle with some water, shake it up, and down it, not really enjoying the taste or texture.

Are you ready to make your protein shakes a lot more enjoyable? With just a few extra ingredients you can spice up your protein shakes to make a delicious creation that you will crave!

I am the queen of throwing random things into a blender with my protein powder to experiment. So here is one of my favorites so far—the strawberry cheesecake protein smoothie!

What You’ll Need:

  • 40g vanilla protein powder (I use MyProtein)

  • 1 tbsp sugar-free cheesecake instant pudding mix

  • 1 tsp milled flax seed

  • 175 mL unsweetened original almond milk

  • 1 tbsp stevia

  • 60g frozen strawberries

  • 1 tsp dark chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp raw pumpkin seeds

How to Prepare:

  1. In a blender, add the almond milk, protein powder, pudding mix, flax seed, stevia, and frozen strawberries. Blend for 30 seconds. Add more milk if you like a more liquidy texture. I like to eat my smoothies with a spoon so 175 mL of almond milk creates the perfect consistency for me.

  2. Pour into a cup. Top with pumpkin seeds, chopped dark chocolate chips, and chopped strawberry.

  3. Optional toppings: granola, nut butters, nuts, etc.
