I’m back at it again with blending things together and calling it a protein smoothie! This one is fantastic if you’re in the mood for something chocolatey (which I always am, but who isn't)!?
What You’ll Need:
40g chocolate protein powder (I use MyProtein)
1 tsp milled flax seed
175 mL unsweetened original almond milk
1 tbsp stevia
50g (or about 1/2) banana
5 drops of chocolate peanut butter sweetener from MyProtein (optional)
12g (2 tbsp) PB fit
1 tsp raw pumpkin seeds
How to Prepare:
In a blender, add the almond milk, protein powder, flax seed, stevia, 1 tbsp PB fit, sweetener drops, and most of the banana. Blend for 30 seconds. Add more milk if you like a more liquidy texture. I like to eat my smoothies with a spoon so 175 mL of almond milk creates the perfect consistency for me.
While that’s blending, add the other tablespoon of PB fit and a teaspoon of water to a bowl and stir into a peanut butter consistency.
Pour the blender contents into a cup. Top with pumpkin seeds, the remainder of the sliced banana, and drizzle with the PB fit.
Optional toppings: granola, nut butters, nuts, etc.
