Myprotein Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancakes

I LOVE Saturday mornings for many reasons, but mainly because it means I have time to make myself an actual hot breakfast, which of course means protein PANCAKES!

As someone who pays attention to macronutrient consumption, pancakes and waffles generally lack on their protein game. How do I solve this problem? I make the batter out of Myprotein powder! Most mornings I crave something sweet for breakfast and these totally do the trick for me. Also, peanut butter everything, am I right?

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 scoop (30g) Myprotein chocolate smooth casein protein powder

  • 2 tbsp (12g) Myprotein peanut butter powder

  • 6 drops mocha Myprotein FlavDrops

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • 3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tsp (3g) raw shelled pumpkin seeds

  • 25g banana

  • 15g peanut butter baking chips

How to Prepare:

  1. Mix together the protein powder and baking powder. Add the egg and almond milk. Stir until even consistency.

  2. In a greased frying pan over medium heat, add half the pancake mix. Repeat to make two pancakes.

  3. In a small cup, mix the peanut butter powder with 1 tbsp water to make a syrup-like liquid. Drizzle over the pancakes.

  4. Top with sliced banana and raw shelled pumpkin seeds.
